Sounds like a pretty tough modpack. I'm still not all that comfortable with Survival, so count me out.

30 its not that hard at this point as I have yet to do any kind of tweaking because at this point all my friends have dead computers and I don't have much time.
If this is all resolved or is getting resolved I am going to tweak it and annoy the crap out of them because of it

28 keep in mind that it is pretty much early game, the most advanced thing I have set up is a heat-exchanger and a steam turbine both from advanced generators and I still need to supply it with lava from the nether.
the building on the left is my machine room, I am still working on it. Here am I getting my materials from and I will use it to generate power until I can nuclear with both industrial craft and big reactors.
This is where I am getting my materials from. As mining is not a really good option I need to rely on ex nihilo and Ex Astris. as I have no thermal expansion I need to use industrial craft for the creation of gravel sand and dust. I then sieve it using the autosieve from ex astris.
This is what I am currently working on. Using the mod advanced generators I am going to make steam and obsidian from lava, I then use the steam to generate both rf and eu. I get the lava from the nether using mine-carts and I am almost finished with that. I am also planning on making a syngas + gas turbine later in the game.
The farm uses only 1 source block of water but is at this point almost useless as I get more then enough food from the berry's. Before you go all crazy yes I know that there is a dungeon I am planning to use it but I know that there are a total of 3 spawner's inside it and at least 1 is a creeper spawner and I rather not let creepers destroy it.
this are some of the materials I have right now. I have for now more then enough diamonds but for some reason I always have a shortage on gold.(yes I wanted to get all the ink that I have in my inventory just don't let @CoolSquid know about it )
I have not posted a picture of my hiding hole as it is one ugly mess.
edit forgot to mention the mods I have access to. There are a lot of mods I have never used and there are some mods I am planning to remove for example enderIO

29 That's pretty neat. Much nicer-looking than the hole in the ground that is my home in Pathfinder.
@WitherBlaster: If what freaks you out about Survival mode is mobs sneaking up behind you, you might like Pathfinder. Among other things, it's designed for peaceful mode. You can get (hostile) mob drops from things like leaves, stone, redstone, quartz, and diamonds.
