34 so... it turns out that some guys at my work also play MTG and even have organized small "tournaments". This means that I may finally get to play my chaos EDH/commander deck.

It was the last deck I build before I stopped playing and I never got to play with that deck, except for an online version I made off it which isn't exactly the same.

If you want to know why I call it a chaos deck: It contains a card that says that every time someone casts an instant or sorcery he gets to play EVER instant or sorcery that got played since.

So.. if I cast this card and after that cast doom blade not much happens. If however someone else casts a lightning bolt after this he also gets to cast a doom blade. (see where this is going?)

It also contains a card that says that whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery EVERY player gets to cast a copy of it and can choose their own targets. And, before you ask, yes this works with the earlier mentioned card though not in a way that makes an infinite loop.

Also, just so you know: instant/sorceries are cards that have an immediate effect like "destroy target creature" or "deal 3 damage" or like another card I have in the deck "everyone draws three cards then discards three cards at random".

And before you ask, no those 2 cards are not the only ones that create chaos. I also have cards that force you to use your opponents deck instead of your own, make it random what card you play from your deck giving you only control over the type of card that gets played and cards that gives each card that is in play to another random player.

So....yea... if that deck goes off you are suddenly playing a very weird game of MTG, which I don't expect to win but at least it will be fun :)

32 Going to shut my PC down to clean the filters and blow it out before I head back to school.

33 That... seems like a fun deck to play.
33 It is. However, as it has no way of actually winning the game it isn't ideal in a 1 v 1. I played a slightly different version once using cockatrice and that game took multiple hours and ended because we simply ran out of cards.Note that neither of us where having that as a strategy.

34. Just started reading The Lord of the Rings! I'm already in the part in the Fellowship where they are discussing what to do about the ring. It's very fun and the lore is extremely deep, even more so than anything I have ever read and I absolutely love it!

34 so... I was bored and decided to play a game of MTG with myself just to see how my old commander decks would do.

Turns out: My chaos deck has a nice trick up its sleeve. Mainly that its cards are so bad that scramble verse (the card that randomizes who controls which cards) is actually rather good for me. It managed to completely break down the power off my artifact deck and got the game into a stalemate as a result.

It then managed to cast sundering titan which slowed the artifact down even more while barely slowing the chaos deck down, thus maintaining the stalemate and putting a nice threat in play.

After this it played cast through time, which means that any instants or sorceries I cast from my hand have rebound (meaning I can play them a second time for free next turn) and followed this with destructive force which destroyed the last lands of the artifact deck and its only creatures while my chaos deck had enough damage still in play to attack for 24 damage :) And, even if the artifact deck managed to rebuild an army in 1 turn I would just wipe the board next turn again as I could cast destructive force a second time (thanks to cast through time).

I suspect that if it wasn't against myself the artifact deck would be a lot more aggressive but considering I also didn't play the chaos deck that well.....

32. Boo. One thing I quite liked at uni was that there were a huge range of primer books that were short, and in-depth about a very specific area of chemistry, so if you were having trouble with something in particular, getting one of those would really help. They weren't super expensive either!

31 so.... For those unaware (which I suspect is everyone), I need to get a certain injection every 5 years.
Now, as it turns out a lot can change in 5 years. For example, the medicine not being available anymore in my country. Luckily the doctors took care of getting hold on it but it now costs me 53 euro's instead of 0.

Also, this thing needs to go into my muscle which means my left arm is now pretty much unusable because if I try to use it, it start to hurt like HELL.

32. Well damn. Every 5 years? 53 euros is not cheap. I guess over the time it works out about 10 a year, but even still - its not something you want to have to fork out for if you haven't before. Medicinal unavailability is also not good :(

31 That sounds unpleasant. Why would it no longer be available in your country?
30.5 by the looks of it because the company is a dick and stopped exporting to the Netherlands.

I feel like a rule should exist that prevents companies from doing that shit unless there are exact replica's available but apparently that is not a thing.

Also, for those that are interested, I still suffer from the side effects and the doctor couldn't do anything about them.
he suggested to just try and keep using my arm and call again if it got worse, which is easier said than done.

Also, I get the impression that he and the one that gave me the injection are more annoyed at the fact that I have to pay for this stuff than I am. I guess that that is good?
