61 for some reason the initial request time takes very long on my phone while testing the app I make.
I have no idea if it is the phone or something else...though, my guess is the phone as the emulator doesn't seem to have that problem.
I'm probably going to ask my dad if I can use his phone to trouble shoot for a bit, once he is back.....
Just as a reference, I managed to write this whole thing before it was done and it had a head start and I wasn't even writing fast with multiple pauses in between
edit: nvm that last bit, there was a bug in the code that made that whole request fail. The rest is generally true though...it takes ages....

61. A few days of pretty inconsistent sleep and a nasty cold and I feel pretty out of it today 
60 I expect chrome's debug tools to at least give a mention if a request fails, even if it is normally a silent one.
61 Only other thing I could think of is connection failure causing a timeout, but that would almost certainly throw an error of some sort.
