72 you know, the thing that annoys me the most about the emergency laptop is the fact that it HAS A THOUSAND AND ONE BEEPS IT USES FOR ALL KINDS OF REASONS EVEN THOUGH THE SETTINGS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AS EVERY OTHER COMPUTER I HAVE WHICH ALL DON'T DO THAT!!

Every time I shut it down, it beeps
Every time if I am in an tty and I press backspace while there is nothing to remove it beeps (and this one is spamable)
every time I press tab inside a tty and there are more then 1 thing it can autocomplete to it beeps(Also spamable)

It used to do the tty stuff also while using a normal terminal, thank god I was able to turn that off >_<

74 well, to make it worse it also doesn't care if headphones or something are plugged in as even if they are plugged in it still uses the speaker for those dammed beeps >_<

77 I wonder if unplugging the normal speakers would make it stop beeping, and allow you to use your headphones in peace.

80 its indeed a laptop :p
also, I discovered that if I tunnel x through ssh and lets say, use this to run firefox remotely. All sounds are still coming from the speakers of the computer that is being controlled.
hopes this sentence made sense

82 So if I ssh -X se37@TheDesktop and then start Firefox or something through that terminal and go to Youtube, the sounds will be coming from TheDesktop's speakers, correct?
