Getting Redstone engine to work?

i'm having trouble with getting the redstone engine working with the Direwolf20 pack i tried using it on a quarry and it didnt work

A redstone engine isn't nearly enough power for a quarry. It needs at least 2 MJ/t to run.[DOUBLEPOST=1371737913][/DOUBLEPOST]And also, you just need a redstone signal (lever, torch)

It would attach but the Engine didnt run. i tested it on other things and it would run but for the quarry the Engine didnt even run (appologize for not being Specific )

Yeah I don't think you can use a redstone engine with a Quarry at all. And it won't run because it can't possibly produce enough power for it.

I think the redstone engine produces something like 0.01MJ/t. Use them just for pumps and wooden pipes.

You COULD power a quarry out of several redstone engines...But some time ago it was patched...
