Windows .jar Getting Critical error in destination folder

Does anyone else have this problem from time to time?

Hello all you FTB forum users! Think you could give me a hand?

I play Feed the beast allot, and all was well until i moved some of my folders around to create shortcuts on my desktop. i wanted to clear up some clutter so i moved all my FTB stuff into another folder on the desktop. After that my FTB has just been giving me errors, i uninstalled, re installed, over and over, tried to make it work but nothing helped. I have since tried changing the destination folder to many different places and i still get the same error every time i run FTB. My specs are not an issue, it is most certainly not a Java problem since i had not modified anything except for the destination of folders and such. Help would be appreciated and i would love some support. The past-bin is bellow, i hope someone can help because i'm tired of uninstalling and re installing. Also, i would like to know why i cant run the .exe , i run windows 7 home premium and i used to be able to use it, but not anymore. :(

That's the problem. It's a well known error. It's an error FTB can't fix. It's an error that happens to all 1.5.2 Forge users. Whether FTB, or without FTB, or anyone with Forge.
When you start up FTB, it will try downloading some files, like the ones noted above. However, not all files are downloaded from FTB servers, some are downloaded from the files.minecraftforge.net server.

Here's the fix:
download these 2 files:
http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/bcprov-jdk15on-148.jar.stash
http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/scala-library.jar.stash
Go to your FTB folder, then go to the modpack's folder (eg. if you want to launch Unleashed, go to the /Unleashed/ folder). Then go to the /minecraft/ folder, then the /libraries/ folder. Put the files in that folder.
Very important: rename the files to bcprov-jdk15on-148.jar and scala-library.jar. If you put the .stash files it won't work. Remove that .stash

Just registered to say Thanks to GuildMaster for this fix. I kept getting error messages like this in every mod pack I was trying to launch. I couldn't tell what info to search for in the error logs, so I just searched for "download error" and this was the first one to pop up. Followed his instructions, and viola! It works now!

In my unleased minecraft folder, there is no librays. ONly lib so i asume this is correct. When i place it in there, it replaces 2 other files and when launched it still doesnt work. please help.

That is the correct spot to put them make sure that you are removing the .stash ending and that you had the same error in your log. Just because you have the same symptoms does not mean same problem.

You are posting into an old thread. Please start a new thread with a link to your log posted to pastebin.com, by clicking on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button on the console. This will create a link at the bottom of the log that you post for us to see in the new thread.

I thought i was having the same problem as Kirby, cleaning up my desktop, but i have tried GuildMaster's solution and it has not solved my problems. it seems like it's working fine but never loads:

You are a premium minecraft user right? As in you paid for the game right? If not then you have to pay for the game before you can use FTB. FTB merely mods the game it does not work without the paid game. If you are a premium user then try the e-mail you paid for miencraft with and the password. If this continues contact mojang and/or try vanilla.

yes ive purchased the game. but ive decided to try a different username and it works now.

i have 24gb of ram (which by itself is unnecessary) and i really dont know what else to do with it all lol
