What can I plant them on?
I tried planting them on fertilized dirt, stone, dirt, nothing worked.
How do you farm these crystals?

Try just throwing them on the ground with Q, like pneumaticcraft seeds. If that don't work then I have no idea.

Mkay, managed to get em to work, turns out that's not the way to farm for crystals..
