Details of the issue:

Game crashes everytime I try to join a friend's server.
It displays: Loading...
and then the complete game crashes.​

Did you fiddle with a .json file?

Like, you know, manually edited one instead of using ingame commands?

Nope. I did not changed a thing nor used an ingame command.
