Greg you magnificent bastard - after you made the fusion reactor even harder I simply knew I needed to make one...

Thank god for Applied Energistics or I would have gone mad having to craft 256 non stackable Reflectors

But in the end, all my toils paid off:

I still need to increase my fuel production (it is dimensioned after the "old" reactor)

Hydrogen -> Deutrium

Deutrium -> Tritium (left) & Water -> Hydrogen (right)

And lastly, my nuke who helped make the UU needed for construction.

264 thick reflectors, btw.

but nice.

Question: What reactor design do you use?

Right - Completely forgot to count the extra coil in the computer ><

The Nukes?

I set it up with Peppe's 4-chamber Plutonium/Thorium design but with the update to 1.1.2 that is no longer stable - So I am looking for a replacement design (currently it is just Setup in a simple pattern that produces 160ish/t x9)

turn on massfab?

I could also just spawn in a stack with NEI (if it wasn't on a server)...

We play with Gregtech on Hardmode because we like the challenge, besides now that my Fusion reactor is up and running power is not exactly a concern so my Nuke isn't really of much use when I can just replace the whole thing with a plasma generator that also generates 2k EU/t

It's about designing something cool, not about making it easier for my self...

So a machine that can withstand plasma's over 100000 kelvin can't handle a bit of rain? Riiight...

I always thought it was hilarious that thermal generators catch fire. But as always, these things are configurable. Perhaps a poll should be taken on what defaults should be for the next non-beta update.

And, as it stands, multiple single reactors are always better output per tick/per block than larger ones.

Although, I don't understand why you're using so many routers. You should need only two.

Those two routers fill, and removes spent fuel of ten reactors. But it could be a thousand.[DOUBLEPOST=1371474196][/DOUBLEPOST]

Or people can stop acting like they're not expected to modify the configs.

There is such a thing as short circuiting.

And you think such a machine has exposed wires? The superconducting coils are VERY well insulated. You know, with all the liquid helium and stuff you don't really want to get your tongue stuck on an uninsulated exposed piece of metal :)
