[Fun][Help]Ways to Use plenty of MJs? Not EU! :P

HEY GUYS!

While playing my SSP Map, i came across a very difficult thing.... i have way too much MJs..
I have 5 Redstone Cells just sitting there, powering my pulverizer and all my goodies from Buildcraft. I have setup a qaurry with my tesseract and its going full Speed. But as the Quarry isn't on FULL time, cause i haven't setup an excellent sorting system just yet..
BUT!
My magmatic engines are overheating and eventually stopping and losing all of its gained MJ's, but im not worried about that cause i have plans to fix that with an auto turn off system, but back to the subject...
Is there a setup of something, maybe a "FUN" contraption that can be used to benefit my world and takes MJ's to do so. I have tesseracts which can make any project possible.
I have ALL the mods from Ultimate FTB pack, Easy Mode GregTech (noob, i know... shuddup ) and all the mods from Direwolf20. If you dont know those mod packs or what they contain, look for the forum post about it.... i can be bothered listing ALL the mods :\ .

Here is the Xycraft Multitank at work, But dont get confused on this picture, The multitank is 16,000,000 bucket/units. The iron tank is getting lava from a nether setup i have that takes lava and transports it back to the Iron Railcraft tank, which then gets full and i offload some of the lava into the xycraft tank for later emergency uses.

Here is my Lovely MJ's generating plant, i still have even MORE engines to attack, but i figured why should i when these ones are clunking out and not generating power?.

You have seen some of my stuff. I'm counting on you to give me feedback and ideas on what to build next? I know it could be simpler by looking at other people's Posts and see what they have built and copy their ideas. But i figured this would be a fun experience for me and the community here. If you don't want to give me any ideas, Look and move along.... But if you do, I would Love it. C: Thanks.

1. Whenever you are uploading screenshots, please use the default texture pack. It means that everyone knows what they are looking at
2. There are plenty of things to use MJ for. You could make a quarry, or delve into Extra Bees. Trying to work out MultiFarms could be cool too. So many mods use MJ these days; there are a lot of things you can do!

If you want an easy MJ dump, a Thermionic Fabricator is basically a void pipe for MJs.

The thing eats them up like no tomorrow.

Better still is the Charging Station from Misc Peripherals, have those spare MJ's putting a huge amount of fuel into a turtle for later use

If you have too much MJ, Look into getting into Bees. The genetic manipulation machines that come with Extra Bees eat MJ. One of the machines uses 100 MJ/t, one of them uses 50 MJ/t and so on.

i do have a little 9x9 area planned for bees, and with them, it doesn't really take much mj's cause i turn off the machines im not using.... But then again, i can start to Automate them a little more.... For now i have been just doing it by hand.... And im not really a big fan of bee breeding, well... not a "fan" but i always wanted to learn how to use these little hive dwellers. ADVENTUREE~~~~

to tell the truth, this has NO use for me... Considering i have a Wither Skeleton Farm (from IRC SoulShards) and i just use 10+ stacks of coal to fuel all my turtles and label.set() to save the "fuel" they gain.

This device is unknown to me. And i do alot of minecrafting with mods. lol. Ill just have to spend some time on FTB wiki to see what this phenomenon of a device can benefit for my base.

You could build a Railcraft rock crusher, and hook it up to a cobblegen (igneous extruder). Set up correctly, the rock crusher will turn cobblestone into diamonds, sand and noise.

You could also convert some MJs into EU. Even if you don't have any IC2 machines yet, slap down a MFSU or three and charge them via a magma crucible -> geothermal generator setup. If you ever do get into IC2, you'll have plenty of power stored up.

P.S.: the Thermionic Fabricator thing was a joke - it's a Forestry machine that keeps consuming large amounts of energy whether or not it is actually doing anything, thereby acting as a "void pipe for MJ" if you forget to demount it after you are done using it.

Unless the camera angle is fooling me in that screenshot with your engines, you have some conduit issues. Three of your four engines are not outputting anything. Those energy conduit blocks can each only be set to extract or to input into the network. Thus you need at least two blocks between your engines and the energy cells/tesseract.

WOW! Nice! That is actually really nice idea....I do have EU machines, but im powering them up with solar panels from i think compactsolars..... or advancedSolars, I usually get them mixed up.... (its the ones with Ultimate Hybrid Solar Panels)
with the idea of the magma Crucible > Geothermal Generator, i dont see very important to me, considering i have a 13 million! units of lava stored in my Xycraft Tank....

Even though that is a very nice idea. I see no use... Sorry. Got anymore machines or contraptions i could try in your skull of minecraft knowledge? maybe?

as though i have pipes going in at the sides, i have some on the bottom of the tesseracts and cells to allow the energy to correctly store. Dont worry, I have had issues with, and have a understandment of how these things work and some brains

OH! i see the "engines" that are incorrectly inputing and outputting, As i said in the first post, i have more engines, but i didnt want to activate them due to having alot of mj's still. So i have them shutdown with redstone signal. haha.

MFFS will blow through MJ pretty quickly, and it's a fun mod to play with. Granted you don't have players to ward off, it works equally well for killing/stopping mobs. You could even put a mob spawner inside of it, and have MFFS do all the work of killing them.

Actually, This is a really nice idea, i have a passive and hostile mob farm, Again, using ForgeIRC Soul Shards. And im just dropping them from a really tall built up area of glass and picking up the loot myself. Does this "MFFS" mod allow for items to be automatically picked up? cause that's the only function that i really could use in that scenario. And i have been planning to somehow make a enderman Defense system, to keep those buggers from teleporting underground and stealing parts of my bloody wall...

Did some research on the MFFS mod, It seems very complicated... But i will eventually get into it. Maybe some test worlds and ill finally be good enough to get it through to my Fair World.

I know. But i want advice on what Goofy or fun ways i can blow MJ's.
Not just simple grinding or harvesting ores. Cause i already have that stuff...

Redpower's transposers will pick up items for you. MFFS also has a security station that will take items form players, though I do not think it'll work for picking up items off the ground.

Finish your sorting system using barrels and a router. My sorting system takes like about 3x2x1 area lol, very tiny. Took maybe 10 minutes to do. Today if I have time I'm going to finish the sorting system into a production plant so it will automatically pulverize > smelt everything that comes in from the quarry. Storage is going to be an issue, as I got ~40 stacks of iron from the last quarry run...

Farms don't use a whole lot of energy. I would just a couple full sized quarries all day long lol.

My new setup puts out just over 100mj/t, and that's really all I need.

Well, regardless of your power system (MJ, BT, EU) you'll always at some point gain more power then you can actually use. The mods are a bit unbalanced that way, lots of way to generate a ton of power, but not much out there that will actually require all that power constantly.

I knew about the transposers, With my old map i used them in something similar to what im doing now, and leading all the items into barrels, But i figured, Why go simple and plain? i want to go hard and try and make something that can do more than just pick up items and swish them into a barrel... BORING! so i came up with some ideas for that, and ill post the ending result probably here, or in another post, Don't know yet.

With the sorting machine, i also have done this in THIS world, i just dont have the room in my small area to make it more labyrinth. Cause i am one of those people that likes to go into a room, see what i need, get it, and use it in different ways. Instead of having pre-made items already stacked and ready for use, even though thats more "efficient" I dont see the fun in that...
So auto-smelting and stuff, i dont really enjoy, Considering the Crapiness of my CPU, i can't really do anything too Mainstream.

Or get a mystcraft world with just desert biome and equip a shovel of earth mover from thaumcraft3 then dig some sand get the minimum stone from ee3 mod and transmute it into dirt then into gravel. Rockcrush it = profit? XD then with dirt output, put it through a fabricator from xycraft to make it more automatic. Then you have even more profits.

You could set up a large and complex Applied Energistics sorting system. They use quite a bit of power when you get them going, and they are really awesome too.
