FTB University - exit code 0

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Hi guys,

I've been enjoying the FTB University a lot. I updated it to the latest 1.2.1 and after that, I am not able to play it anymore. Each time I click on "play" in the MC launcher, it gives me an "Exit code 0".

I thought it could be related to the issue mentioned in patch notes with the worlds, so I installed another 1.2.0 world, copied mod folders and renamed files and tried again. Same issue. I then tried starting the new 1.2.0 instance but that gave me the same error.

Starting a new 1.2.1 instance works fine.

How can I proceed with my current game? Or is it possible to transfer the world to the 1.2.1 instance?

There are no files in the crash-report folder.

I do see a debug.log in the logs folder. You want that sent to pastebin?

Looks like you have multiple instances of some mods, likely because you copied the mods folder from another instance. You should create a new instance of the pack and then copy the world directory over.

Weird, because I only did what was described in the release notes on the recent patch.

I installed a new 1.2.1 instance and copied the save folder from the previous instance to this new one.

It seemed to work until I tried to load the save. Forge mod loader came up with a lot or info and then MC crashed.
