Details of the issue:

I try to join a server (it worked last day) but now it just crashes when I try to join a server. my friend had the same issue too but he managed to fix it by re-downloading the whole launcher. but... it didn't work for me so I'm bit of lost how to fix this.​

I actually managed to fix this by contacting servers admins, because of I was in stairs that were bugged for some reason. I suspect it was a bug in secret trapdoor + ladder for some reason

We started having issues today after what appears to be updated items in some of the mods (from what we've seen). We have our own server through bisect hosting. We had it crash on three different computers starting this the morning. At first it was giving me server error issues but eventually let me on. Now tonight, it crashes the entire game on multiple computers. Initially when I try to make a camouflaged trapdoor (I was by a ladder as well) or try to use a carpenter. We contacted our server and they loaded back up files from before it stopped working. Unfortunately it didn't work. We've tried to use difference versions of java without success as well. Even tried reinstalling the game to no avail.

Just for historical sake, the actual issue the OP reported is actually a bug in SecretRooms, which was fixed in build 4.7.1.412. Unfortunately, The Dark Trilogy 1.1.1 ships 4.7.1.406. It's a timing issue between WAILA and SecretRooms. There is a client side fix for it, PM me for details.
