Details of the issue So I download the pack, start it up, and the minecraft launcher appears with the game version as 1.10.2 . This happens every time I install it, even though it creates the profile and adds the mods.

The legacy launcher doesn't work either. It goes into an endless cannot connect loop and never downloads the pack.

I also can't get this pack to work. I change the profile to minecraft 1.2.5 and the mods won't load in.

Seems like it's an issue with creating a MC 1.2.5 instance with Forge 3.3.8.153. Since making a custom modpack with just those settings is unable to launch to 1.2.5 either.

You need to use the legacy launcher but you have to go into Maps and Textures and click on maps and find the insanity or normal map. Then it should work fine, as I did it and am fine now!

I did this exact thing and it will launch, show the animated FTB logo but will stop after the T has shown up and give me a small black screen that will just sit there until I force quit the game.
