The next wave of modpacks will soon be in testing and we've decided that now will be a good time to recruit a few more members to the FTB One community. This is a community primarily for Content Creators so if you have 500+ subscribers or followers on your platform of choice and are interested in some fresh content for your channel be sure to get your application in. We aren't only looking for huge established channels, but we are looking for channels that are producing regular content already.

What of those that have basically "starter channels" with little to no subscribers? This may be a way to get them into the higher echelons of youtubing.

I don't have the 500 subs yet on my YouTube channel, but I've gone from 0 to 47 in 3 weeks and it looks like my channel's picking up steam. I've uploaded 45 videos since Thanksgiving (3 weeks ago?) and I try to get 1-2 per day uploaded. I'm currently doing series on DW20 1.10.2, Unstoppable, and PO2 Kappa Mode. I know that I'm not currently at the level you're looking for, but I'm really enjoying what I'm doing so far and I've gotten nearly 100 likes with 0 dislikes, despite posting a few links to Reddit. (We all know how they can be! ) I've put in an application to join FTB One if yall will have me, and I'd be more than happy to help in any way that I can.

We're primarily looking for regular content channels with a base that can be grown, if you are producing regular FTB content but don't quite meet the numbers then apply anyway, you never know

Yea that is how i am. I stream and my channel is very small. This would be a way for my channel to grow

For FTB One we are only looking for content creators, yes. We had a recruitment drive not that long ago for our other test team. Keep an eye on the Twitter and forums for the next time we open up applications for the Beta Testing Team.

To expand on that, streamers tend to play a LOT of hours in a short amount of time so make for an excellent way to screen large packs fairly quickly. In addition to that they have hundreds of eyes watching while playing and can draw on the opinions and ideas of their audiences while making gameplay suggestions. This naturally results in a much better experience once the pack is released.

@Quetzi I think he's trying to ask why this post is only looking for promoted and not tester. His English is very broken so I'm not sure, but that's what I get out of it.

We have a separate beta testing team that focus purely on testing. We use FTB One for gameplay testing, something that content creators are perfectly suited for. They often play long hours in short timeframes covering a large amount of the content very quickly. Also, their audiences often have good feedback which they can in turn pass on to us to help us improve the packs as they are being tested, clear example of when this happened and worked well is Infinity Expert.

As an update to this: Responses to all applicants have now been sent out. We looked at a variety of things and made some very tough choices, not every big channel was accepted and not every small channel was rejected. We have a good mix of new people that are (hopefully) ready to get stuck in and playtest our new packs.
