FTB Modpack Compatibility

Well, I've finally gotten back into FTB, and I can't seem to get DrZhark's Mo'Creatures mod to work like I did previously with Direwolf20's older modpack. While it used to work back on the older versions, I can't seem to find any threads listing the compatibility issue the current modpacks (1.6.4 Minecraft versions) have with Mo'Creatures.

It isn't officially supported, but I'm hoping anyone with knowledge about this can help me get this mod working with a more recent FTB modpack. I'm using the most current Mo'Creatures version, which is 1.6.4 compatible, and I've tried both Horizons modpack and Direwolf20's. There should be a crash report for the latter version attached to this post.

I've been looking around, and the Optifine mod seems compatible to a degree, at least with version C6. There is a guide to install the mod into the FTB pack, could this be done with the Mo'Creatures mod or is it simply incompatible as of now?
