So hi everyone, im new ftb generally and havnt played it much so im setting up this thread as a journal of what I do but also a place where people can post suggestion on what i should do next and how i should go about it, i hope to accumpany this with pictures and videos to help make this clearer. so ya, this will be done on an in game day by day basis to keep it simple.
Feel Free to post Suggestions and whatever.
Day 1:
I spawned in a plains biome and in the distance I saw what appeared to be the tundra, quickly i turned around and saw a small bit of forest and went to work punching down some trees to get wood. Once I had around 17 pieces I made a crafting table and created a wooden pickaxe. Then digging into the side of a small hill i cut away some stone and upgraded my pickaxe into stone one. I then proceded to clear away the inside of the hill to act as my temperary home and place of strip mining.

To add some actualy use to my temperary home I built a furnace and then a chest so i could cook some food and store all of the materials I could gather, then I saw the last tendrils of the sun go down so i quickly closed up the hole in the hill and began mining through the dark night.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------So what do yall think i should do and/or build first, also where are the FTB files stored???
Day 2-10:
The Next Few Days just became a monatamus shmorgamorg of hunting mining and cutting down trees, but over that time i had some time to think and our my first goal will be to setup a nice sorting system using BuildCraft Pipes .... Just need to get some more diamonds.
Day 11:
I have looked deeply into the Tinkers construction and have started creating the basic weapons before i look into the smelterary part bu fornow my longsward by the name of stone hand is fine.....
