I need a way to power my quarry and I'm not sure what the best method would be. It needs to be something that I can set up to be self sufficient or at the very least be easy to transport the resources to power it

Simplest solution: Generate RF however you like (I assume your quarry uses RF), wherever you like, and make a pair of dimensional transceivers (Ender IO) or Tesseracts (Thermal something or other)

Those blocks transport mana wirelessly. You can send your power to your quarry wherever it is with a single block and your power generation can stay centralized.

I've been using magmatic dynamos for my big power needs. With the highest level augments, they produce 640 RF/t.

I supply the lava to the dynamos using a BC Factory pump placed over a lava lake in the nether. the pump feeds through Hardened Fluiducts to a basic magmatic dynamo and to a Ender Tank. The Ender Tank shoots it to the overworld to supply my magmatic dynamos there. Just make sure to claim and load the chunks using the GUI on the side of the inventory screen (left click to claim, then ctrl + left click to load).

Picture of lava pump setup for reference:

Hope this helps!

As alluded to above, a pair of tesseracts is great, it elimates the need for you to carry loads of fuel to a faraway dig site.

To explain further, at your quarry site all you need is the quarry itself and a tesseract. Plonk the tess on top of the quarry and set it to receive power/send items. Put it on the same channel as a second tesseract at your base, set this second one to send power and receive items.

Then feed whatever RF power supply you're making (as papa mentioned above, lava and magmatic dynamos are a pretty simple and effective solution) into one side of the tesseract, put down a chest next another side of the tesseract and you're done :)

If you've done it right, you're feeding power the the remote quarry, the quarry will then output items direct into the remote tesseract and these should just get dropped into the chest ready for you to collect.

For bonus points, it also facilitates "cleaning" your quarry output in a single centralized setup. Rather than sorting all your junk at your individual quarries before sending it home, you can just send everything home and sort (and trash) it there as necessary.

All good bases in a quarrying pack should have a room dedicated to something like this :)
