FTB Infinity Evolved Crash on Ubuntu

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.
  • The FTB Forum is now read-only, and is here as an archive. To participate in our community discussions, please join our Discord! https://ftb.team/discord

anyway: On the launcher go to options then click the force update button, then launch the modpack.

Do that and provide log from that run. Full log by using upload log button.

Try setting the permgen to 1024 and leaving the RAM at 3GB won't be a bad thing, no harm no fault. Updating your java using the JDK kits is a good idea too. The server hands there for me too and I have it set to 5GB just takes a minute, might take you a while longer using so little.

Okay, still not working on either launcher. MYM crashes once it gets to Initializing Minecraft Engine (not enough memory) and FTB crashes with the same log as always. Vanilla works. This is using any modpack. 2 GB of RAM allocated on both.

Well there is nothing we can use for debugging. Requesting log again.
