What is the highest moded version of Mindcrack? What server pack is that?

Also anyone know of any extreme weather/natural disasters mod for said ftb server?

Ehm a quick look in the launcher tells me the latest version of MindCrack is v8.3.2 for MC 1.4.7. It is also the recommended version.
Not entirely sure what you mean with the other questions.

FTB has many, many packs and a universal config for up to 1.6.4 .

Mindcrack is an old modpack. The Mindcrack guys are, AFAIK, doing vanilla MC these days. No pack required.

If you're getting into the modded Minecraft scene - welcome aboard ! I recommend downloading and installing the FTB launcher and trying either FTB Lite or Direwolf20 (DW20) and watch / play along with his excellent YouTube Season 6 videos.

DW20 even has a video that covers FTB installation on his Season 6 YouTube page. DW20 rocks.

Thanks for the quick replys man. I run a Mindcrack mod pack right now and my wife wants horses and stuff. So I was looking to update to a better mod then the classic mindcrack.

MC 1.6.4 has horses and all the 1.6.4 modpacks I have used so far have had plenty of horses in them. I play with my daugther and she loves horses.

I would recommend waiting a bit with upgrading. Only a few of the 1.6.4 packs are stable at this moment(FTB lite and Tech world 2 are the only ones I believe). As of yet there has been no indication of a new MindCrack pack being on the way. So I would recommend having a look at the mods in the other FTB packs and then once they are out of beta taking the step over to the new pack. If you choose to play one of the packs now you might very probably end up having to reset your world at some point to get the full experience once the pack goes to stable.

Not true. Baj is testing the pack right now. He posted a video of him playing the beta and the mod list 1-2 months ago on his YouTube account.

Not really mindcrack, but generikB and BdoubleO seem to have put together their own pack (it seems suited for the silly, comic stuff they tend to do).

I think "B-Team attack" is the name. Its not on FTB tho, its on another launcher, characterized by a creeper with a construction hat and a toolbelt

MagicFarm2 is also (very) stable. @Jadedcat did a nice job putting that pack together.

Attack of the B-Team via the Technic Launcher. They're purposely avoiding any highly technical mods with his modpack. It's full of fun and absurd mods

Also the 1.6.4 modpacks are nearly as stable as you're going to get. Some mod devs have ceased updates on that version and are working on 1.7.

Lite 2, Tech 2 and Magic Farm 2 are Stable. Lite 2 and Magic Farm 2 are the 2 most stable packs currently based on bugs reported. And Yes Mindcrack has a pack they are testing.[DOUBLEPOST=1391111237][/DOUBLEPOST]
