So I have been away from mine craft for a bit. I see there are now 2 mod packs that are 1.10.2 and was wondering what everyone thinks of both. Which do you like better, and which do you recommend that I play. Give me reasons why so I can evaluate both based upon your feedback. :)

Me and friends have always liked the larger mod packs as our scope when it comes to building tends to be on the ridiculous scale. ;) So keep that in mind when you are leaving feedback. Thanks.

I've kinda lent more towards infinity lite vs Hermitpack. Both mod counts are roughly the same (I think). HP does have some config changes that I'm not so much a fan off (smeltery tripling ores instead of doubling for one) but its kinda nitpicking.

I'm playing through both packs now and I really like them both. I've been a huge fan of Infinity for a long time so I would recommend that one if I had to pick just one. The changes for 1.10 take a while to get accustomed to but I really like the new challenges. Now if the resource packs could just be updated for 1.10 that would be nice. :)

I've played both as well. There are config differences, also different mods beyond the usuals. Hermitcraft was a bit more laggy at first but I'd also had a few more weeks of world gen by the time Lite came out... Now they're about even on that score.

I'm waiting on the Direwolf20 pack, which will be out on Monday according to a tweet this AM from the man himself. He'll have a new "Let's Play" series starting at about the same time to help those new to modded MC and also to demo the new and/or updated mods in the pack. There'll also be Spotlights 1.10 mods... DW said there have been many changes so even traditional mods need a fresh look.
