Hey guys! I have a massive problem I have been trying to resolve for 5 HOURS! Jesus. But anyways.

I have a quarry, its this.
OTUqMWs.png

See how there is a diamond pipe above with the void pipe and item tesseract? I have not connected it from the quarry cause this is the problem. You see when i do it runs for a while but then i get a CRASH! Its something like tile ticking entities or something. Im sorry I do not have a crash log for this cause I did not think of that the first 100 times it crashed to post it here but its like telling me the location of the pipe as in the coordinates and such. I will not place it again to get the log cause i have to keep dealing with FTB crashing literally every two seconds. How do I fix this with buildcraft pipes? Thanks!

What mod pack are you using? Have you made sure its updated to the recommended build? I have never run into this problem but right after the update to 1.5.x the pipes were changed so you might need to update. Also what type of pipe do you attach to the quarry when you do connect it and it crashes? It also might be a chunk issue and make sure the chunk boundaries are ok and the tesseract isnt out of the chunks that are loaded... Thats the best I can come up now without a log file. There should be a folder in your FTB folder for this mod pack that has a folder with logs of crashes. It should be in there. Anyways let us know if you still need help.

Try just an enderchest?? a hole lot easier and setup a gate system to power supply to shutdown the quarry if any items are in the chest. A lot safer and should not crash your game..

I'm using Ultimate v1.1.2, its only available for 1.4.7. Its just downloaded from the main screen of the FTB launcher. I tried ALLL different pipes I tried golden stone cobblestone its anything! Strange thing by the way, the pipe doesnt show the cobble and stuff the quarry mines up untill it reaches the diamond pipe? I don't know but maybe thats a problem? Anyways Ill find the Log:

I would rather my setup be like it is, but could you explain how I would go about it? Not much knowledge on that, but thanks! Explain how I would do it.

I tried loading the save again with a backup and it did it again! I'm pretty sure its something to do with entities and the pipes.

Why not enderchests or Tessacts? Or if low on materials just stick a chest of any type and have filters going to pulls the items from the chest to avoid any BC pipes at all. To use an ender chest on quarry stick it on top (where the "hole" is) and just put another of the same color code and bam just extracts the items with RP2's filters or AE to avoid the use of BC pipes.

Came here because I had same exact problem with my server. Someone was doing a quarry with build pipes and a tesseract and server crashed, can't restart it.

Seems to be that diamond pipes on tesseracts are causing crashes.

I got it to work with the enderchest! Thank you! But i Have one problem....how can i suck out the items from the chest in the overworld quicker? It keeps getting full. I have a wooden pipe with a redstone engine on it currently.

Use the enderchest!

I have seen a similar crash when you would place 2 tesseracts with a wooden pipe between them. The game tries to modify the ItemStack in the pipe twice. Try and put at least one gold (or any other type) pipe on each side of the diamond pipe.

Okay just use a filter or if you could do it with an import bus, to use the filter just do this chest> filter and timer fast enough to empty it> tubing to chests. An import is just sticking it at the chest and set to pulls stacks to your Applied Engertics system.
