So: Actually Additions can do some fairly decent RF generation with its top-tier empowered canola oil. Draconic Reactor power is hugely late-game so don't worry about that. Likewise, Thermal Expansion's stuff can generate pretty decent amounts of RF when you've got high tier dynamos and the refined fuel or grassoline (for a renewable source) for example. Grassoline produces 800,000 RF per bucket by default; 1,000,000 with the specialisation augment (which also hugely boosts the RF output of the dynamo too).
From a bit of Googling, a bucket of empowered oil generates 700,000 RF in an unaugmented compression dynamo. I don't know how that compares to the ActAdd Oil Generator - that would be worth checking out. Given that Dynamos are upgradable with stuff that can make fuel last longer (and thus generate more RF per bucket), a cross-mod approach could be worthwhile, even balanced against the cost of Atomic Reconstructing and Empowering the canola seeds.
A key benefit of using either Thermal's native Grassoline or ActAdd's Empowered Canola Oil is that both are 100% renewable I believe.
