Here is his crash log.

http://pastebin.com/ab5qNGcN

He had mentioned a skeleton killing him, and getting kicked. Each subsequent reconnect attempt results in him getting kicked. Meanwhile I am fine. I thought something may have gotten corrupted, but I am on the server just fine ... any guesses?

Thanks :)

Seems like the potion effect which he has is causing the kicking, as a temporary solution rename his player.dat and see if he can then log in. He will be sent back to spawn though. If you put back his original player.dat file he could just keep trying and eventually the potion effect should wear off.

Alternatively you could try killing him as that will also remove the potion effect.

b0bst3r has the right idea - rename his player.dat and see if he can log in. If so, something is wrong with his player.dat. Personally, the next thing I'd do is make a backup of his player.dat, open it with NBTExplorer, and try and find out what's wrong - b0bst3r thinks there may be a potion effect crashing him, so see if you can find that potion effect, remove it in NBTExplorer, save the file, and try to get him to log in.
Also, if he's not available to test, you can backup your own player.dat and rename his to your name. Then the next time you log in, you'll basically be in his shoes.
This is the strategy I use as a server administrator whenever one of my players isn't able to log in anymore.

Actually fixing to head to bed, so he'll have to check that later on .. side note, is there a way to prevent blood magic from applying the soul fray effect upon death? Just in case this happens again?
