Banned for banning in a game with an avatar from another game and that avatar has a visor from a movie and sounds like star wars which is a game!

The "Huh?" was because you made it sound like you thought Star Wars WAS games, rather than a series of movies upon which many games are based. This puzzled me.

It is even weirder when you consider that even though it has no abilities that work with it being discarded, it on itself has a reason why you might want to do it.

Banned because Weatherlight is a graveyard-focused set (for some reason), and discarding things gets them into your graveyard.
banned because the ability is still a weird one. Especially considering its on a 1 drop with a build in kill switch. Getting it in play and then in a graveyard is not hard at all, so why bother discarding it. (its also a 3/2 which are some pretty nice stats considering its a 1 drop)

I guess it works pretty well whether you're going for a graveyard strategy or not. If you are, just discard it and get it into your graveyard; if you're not, you've got yourself a solid flier for cheap without much of a downside.
