So, before people go into its the amount of water it uses, not my question.

On to the question at hand. in the multifarm GUI there is a tab that is labeled hydration, as you all might be fully aware of. My question, which after extensive reading on the forestry wiki didn't answer, is simply this. Keeping the hydration requirement low, will this increase the farms productivity? I haven't delved into much thaumcraft or Ars magica stuff yet so i don't have the stuff to speed up growth from either of those mods.

Additional information, I have Optifine installed and had weather turned off in the settings and my water requirement got to about 2500% hence the question.

This tab simply shows the amount of water needed to keep the farm running. It has no influence on the fertility of the farm.

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
I'm Not 100% sure on this
- hydration tab refers to how much water is needed to run the farm [farm size/crop type/temperature], allowing for how much water the farm itself gains from the environment [humidity/rainfall].

- It'll only affect the farms productivity if you actually run out of water.
