And you also know I hate Curse with a burning passion, so of course I'd say it's better than that (even though it uses the Curse download system - mod packs download 1 mod at a time, giving mod devs on CF the download point... but works on Linux)

I think they are going to ruin the modded MC community, by eliminating mods that ask you to get permission. And not to mention the fact that Linux users won't be able to access the Curse Client the same as a Windows/Mac user. Then there's the general tone of the Curse Forums, I feel it's a little too "Jaded-centric"
