Yeah, but it could be millennia before they update life. That seems like kind of a low bar... and then the update'll probably just break everything again.

Probably depends on how hard it is to get our hands on the binaries they use, and how thoroughly they obfuscated it.

I heard they used an interpreted language so decompiling it may not be a problem.
