Finding Infernal Hives, an "infernal" task.

You know those Infernal Hives from the Magic Bees mod (an addon for ThaumCraft 4, Ars Magica 2 and Forestry 2)? After finding two of them, one in the Overworld and the other in the Nether, I had only gotten the Infernal Princesses and a Magma Comb from both. I most likely had some rotten luck that I didn't get a Drone from either of them.

Since then, I have been searching throughout the Nether for another Infernal Hive in hopes that I could get an Infernal Drone, but I'm fairly blind to how I am supposed to find them. I have found some unconfirmed theories that they can be found in the Overworld as long as the biome has been tagged as "Magical" while they are surrounded by Glowstone and in the Nether surrounded by Nether Quartz ore.

Now... given these facts, I would rather not have a heck of a time trying to search for them so I would appreciate some feedback on the matter, along with any other facts and theories that you guys might have about where they can be found.

You could always breed them if there's the possibility...

My world is lousy with the darn hives. I can't mine a bit of quartz without coming by one. I don't want to breed bees, get out of my face hive, jeez!

I can confirm that they spawn in the overworld. DW20 1.6.4 pack, I've run across like 6 of them in my branch mine in a Jade Cliffs biome (approx y level = 12), if that's helpful.

I have found a quite few of them around nether quartz veins in the nether so maybe mine around those to see if you can find some

Confirming both they spawn surrounded by nether quartz in the Nether I've seen several while hunting Nether quartz and they spawn surrounded by Glowstone in "magical" biomes at around y=16 and below (Ominous Woods, Mystic Grove, Magical Woods, Cherry Blossom Grove and I think I've seen them in Fungi Forest, Ice Forest but those 2 I'm not certain of. There are other magical biomes but those are the ones I know of)

Is it just me, or are they usually closer to the lava lake in the Nether? I honestly can't remember finding them high up in the Nether, but that might be just due to how I explore in the Nether.

Nether quartz seams- usually close to a nether fort.

(or run a quarry in the nether, or extrabees machines on those princesses)

Breed one of the princesses with a high-fertility bee that it won't mutate with; say Majestic. This will give you a bunch of Infernal/Majestic drones. Mix these back with the new hybrid princess for either a pure Infernal drone or even more hybrid drones. Lather, rinse, repeat until a pure drone is created and then proceed with breeding using the remaining pure princess.
