Filler with Saplings?

For some reason, in the ultimate version of FTB, fillers only place 1 sapling when you have the area to build in in a line. I have a great idea for an auto tree farm, but it requires this to work. RP placers won't work for this design, unfortunately. Does anyone know a way to fix this?
