Yeah, just noticed that! :p

I don't think BC has energy pipes and it should actually work...
It has, but I haven't used them in ages for something like this. If you need one it's certainly a wooden kinetic pipe as those are required to pull power from generators into a power network. Although I'm pretty positive the direct approach as shown in the screenshot should actually work, might be an issue specific to forestry machines.

I've never knew how to use kinetic pipes, and I tend to stick with RF now, besides, RF is going to be FTB's main energy unit.
So we know TE will be in future modpacks! :D

Can someone please tell me why my fermenter isn't running. the Stirling engine has wood in it and is turned on.

Also, I plan on using sugar cane when I start Biomass production. I just tried a few saplings because I thought it might make it work.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work when you power it directly, but you could try putting kinesis pipes inbetween. Engine -> wooden kinesis pipe (make sure the opaque side is on the side going from the engine) -> fermenter. If the wooden kineses pipe doesn't work on its own, you might have to add an additonal golden kinesis pipe between the wooden one and the fermenter.

I wonder if he actually supplies it with a redstone signal? The fuel itself won't start it.

E: ^ the guy said the engine is "turned on", so I assume it has a redstone signal.

By conduit I mean a thing that can transfer the energy.

If I had meant an item, I would've used the full name.

IKR. :)

But when we say conduit, we mean RF energy transportation.
It's like when we say punch a tree, we literally punch it.
