I like stone buildings. I just like more than one stone type. You can actually click on block with the chisel to change it in place. Don't recall the exact method, but I've seen it done.

I think you put a sample block of the type you want in the chisel & leave it there when you close the GUI.

I googled "medieval italian palace", that room is in the Palace of Versailles in France.

Medieval is the period between year 400–1500 roughly. Versailles was built 1600+. Aka it is not medieval. You are actually several hundreds years into the early modern time period

"Contemporary", aka living memory/the time we live in now.
It is an ever shifting period, it rolls with time. Approx from 100ish years ago to now.
(but I guess it overlaps with Post Modern too )

Back to progress. Starting to get the machines set up in the other room in the main hall, cleaned up the power a bit now that I have ME cable crossing the entrance hallway, making a little progress in Galacticraft. Finished the distillation & crystallization monstrosity. Also set up a centrifuge. Next step, actually using the infusion altar to make some better wands! After that, I should be able to get my nodes started.

I cn has thaumium capped silverwood wand & scepter! Now I need to charge the scepter so I can craft the staff. Then I need to charge everything again so I can start moving nodes!

Breeding mana beans because I need a lot of auram & don't want to make a wisp farm, camp the altar things, or break nodes. I like the new breeding mechanic & not having to deal with a 50+ rng system. I just need to make some golems to harvest & replant.
