because it`s from advanced machines mod, which isn`t included. i have no idea why, but who cares?

I'd almost say this likely isn't the right modpack for you (or myself for that matter, that's why I still play ultimate).

I enjoy tech, but I also enjoy smelteries, but mom and dad are fighting and I don't like hiding under my blanket anymore

mass overclock them? 12 overclockers + 2 transformer upgrades to use high voltage will make your macerator run soooo fast

All you need to do is to download and drop the mod into your mods folder. If you play on a server, try to convince the server admin to do the same (but test it in singleplayer first).

You can choose AtomicStryker's version, which is the one most commonly used, or immibis' version that works exactly the same except that the machines' power draw profiles have been modified to behave exactly like induction furnaces (as opposed to a flat 3 EU/t like in AtomicStryker's varant).

The AS variant has been updated to work with the experimental IC2 branch. For unleashed you'll need the version for classic IC2 though.

I think it got dropped because AtomicStryker "broke" the mod with some of the changes he did to it, hence Immibis's version was made which "fixed" the stuff AS broke. But we all know what FTB are like with "non-official" mods.
