It's a feature from tough as nails. It adds a system like terraria's where you need to pick up life crystals to increase your health.

You have to keep building buildings until you unlock the church. Then the priest will sell them for 100k(?) each.
He's got a shop that's open from like 3-5 am on mondays and tuesdays. I might be wrong about the times but if you ask him his hours (clock button when you're talking to him) he'll tell you.
I knew this, but hazaa... I kept thinking it was 2-3 pm. it is am. My thanks are as plenty as my embarrassment...
Fantastic update: You get 10 copper from the mine hut dude. take that and your watercan to the blacksmith. When his shop time is open, and if you select to chat, he will take your stone watercan and all 10 copper and in 3 days he'll give you a copper watercan. does 3x1 area. more importantly, it is at this point I was also able to purchase sprinklers at 10k each. Each sprinkler has to be at the same y level as your crops and waters a 9x9 area, but of course not the space it is placed on. After which though I was not able to buy anymore. The sprinklers remove a SIGNIFICANT amount of grind, because all you have to do is dump a water bucket on the sprinkler instead of destroying your hunger and food supplies, and are worth every penny. Because I don't know when I will be able to buy further sprinklers don't upgrade the watercan until you are ready to buy all your sprinklers at one time. Buying dungeon locater balls at 10k are worth it as well, to grind out xp for enchants.

Iam struggling to get The NPC's to give me a chicken or cow, I made a couple of new worlds, Then I deleted all of them except for one of them ( hoping it was because of me having so many ), Which did not work, Then I uninstalled the mod packs and re-installed it, And Its STILL not working, Please respond

Can anyone help me? Currently, I'm mining in the mine, and for some reasons, it doesn't give me the ladder to go down anymore (I'm only at lv 2, about y=200, so there's no way it ended that soon). I tried forcing my way down w/ creative, and the next floor does not have a ladder going up or down, and I don't see any floor underneath it. Help!!
*additional question: In case I did break the mine, are there any ways to reset it? I don't want to restart the pack, I'm already a year (in-game) in...
