Extra mouse button problems

With the update of Direwolf20 pack to 1.5 brought with it a problem for me and my mouse with a thousand buttons. I enjoy playing with friends and as such use Teamspeak. I use mouse 5 as my push to talk key, and unfortunately it brings up the "escape" menu when playing on any direwolf20 1.5 server or even single player.

I have update lwjgl to 2.8.4, which has worked in the past. This time it did not. I also tried 2.9 which also did not help.

This occurs with or without Biomes o plenty installed. Outside of that, I am at a loss as to what I need to do.

Does clicking Mouse5 cause you to exit the window (lose focus, it would be still open but not selected), or just pause the game keeping the window selected?

Most mice with multiple buttons also come with software to configure those buttons. Be sure your button5 isn't set to the ESC key.

If your mouse did not come with software, I'm sorry. About all I can say is try to Google for some.

Minecraft remains the focused window. And the mouse is a Razor Naga. Usually, and always in the past a simple update to lwjgl would fix the problem. But now it feels like even after I update the files, the mod pack itself over-writes the files back to the old ones.

I also have a razer naga. Open up the razor synapse application and choose whichever profile you are using for minecraft and make sure it is set to default.

If it is, you can try downloading multimc and importing whatever ftb modpack you wish to play. Before starting the instance, right click it and choose change lwjgl and set it to 2.9

I tried MultiMC and it just crashes. As for razor synapse, it is set to default. :-/

You have to at least add

-XX:PermSize=128m

to the jvm arguments line in settings on multimc. I forgot to say that.

Edit: really? Code needs to be fixed to ignore smilies...
