Equivalent Exchange 3 (the version that works with 1.4.x Minecraft) is nowhere near done; it's in a very early pre-release alpha stage right now.

When EE3 is more solid and it is felt that it's ready to be included, it will be. Until then, it isn't.

I've looked over a way to implement EE2 into my own FTB install, but due to both the limitations in my programming knowledge I couldn't make it work the way I wanted on my RHEL 6 server. Iam excited to see this in the future and with the updates from this mod-maker. Loving all the current mods while I wait :)

Did you get it working in any way? I'm 99% certain that there is no way to do that, it is impossible to put a 1.2.5 mod into a pack with 1.4.2 ones.

EE2 will not be updated by the mod author or the mod maintainer. As it is closed source it is not going to be updated to be put in the mod pack. EE3 will come out when it is ready and will be included at that time. EE2 will not be included in the updated packs. As the question asked has been answered I am locking this thread.

As a note to all users, modifying a closed source mod for personal use is a grey area we prefer to avoid. Distributing a modified closed source mod or teaching people how to make the same changes is against forum rules. If you choose to do this elsewhere we cannot stop you. However don't come here and talk about it.
