Energized Glowstone, wy u do dis?

Does anyone know why the glowstone does this, I place it in the whole and it always after some time goes upward.

It's being hold in place by some Microblocks, I've also placed it above the hole to see if it would stay there, but nope didn't stay.

While yes it's supposed to go up. I see alot of people using it as light and it stays where it has been put. But my glowstone is random. Sometimes it goes up 1 spot, sometimes it goes up 3 spots. I'm just curious if I can keep it like this (a pillar) without it going up. Just curious, I love to use this as a light pillar .

Where B is a solid block, G is the glowstone source block and F is where it flows.

Jup worked like a charm. And now I feel like an idiot cause the second this was posted my thought went 'Wait wait, I'm doing this all wrong!'. So yeah that happend .

Alternatively, go into your TE config and disable Fluid.Glowstone.Float.

I'm really surprised nobody ever does this.

Why would anyone do that? Floating glowstone is awesome!

It is like water, a flow upwards. It stops at the limit but the source stays unless a bucket picks it up or a block is placed on it

Use fluiducts. It will spread in all the conduits if you want a vertical neon lamp.

The bummer is when it turns to glowstone above 128. Let me find a picture to illustrate.

Well it only disables the source block from floating upwards. The flow of the fluid is still up.
