For a quarry, probably not since IIRC, they're created where certain ores are mined. Normally you would pick the orbs up with a vacuum hopper and convert them into liquid XP, but in a quarry that's not feasible. An alternative: if you have an automining system that can use Silk Touch (Thaumcraft Arcane Bore, Mekanism Digital Miner, RotaryCraft Boring Machine, and I think QuarryPlus can do that as well) those XP orbs won't be created.

It does look like a QuarryPlus quarry. Which can have enchantments applied to it. So that seems feasible.

I looked at the readme page http://yogpstopmcmods.sourceforge.net/en_US/qp/Readme.html ; but couldnt find anything about collecting exp.

You need not collect XP from mining if you use Silk Touch because only breaking (some) blocks will generate XP orbs, and with Silk Touch you won't be doing that.
