So.. the thing is.. I can't build the end portal.. Im living in a mystcraft age so I want the portal close (I want the portal, not a link book) but I cant make it work, I got the portal blocks already but I cant seem to be able to activate it.. Googled it and tried different solutions, different ways of placing it, but none seem to work.. Any ideas?

I find that standing in the middle and placing them in a circle around you makes them /significantly/ more likely to work.

Im not doing it in creative, it's my ssp, you can get the blocks with magical crops using ender essence... Monster latest.

That would explain it... I just came down to that conclusion after watching my eye of ender stay in my hand, unlike when in the overworld when it flies over to the nearest portal.. Weird thing they don't work in Mystcraft ages..

BTW, for anyone else with the problem, you have to place the last block so that if it were a piston, it would face the middle.

Test some end portal 'portal' blocks.
Make sure it'll actually work in the age
[otherwise myst portal inside your end frame, dropping into the overworld stronghold, or re-arrage your dimensions IDs so minecraft thinks your age is the overworld]
