If in doubt there's this thing called single player creative mode which more often than not finds the answer out quicker than asking.

Can more than one tube go into the Board? Last time I tried that my gold Board would only allow one tube, period, when I set it up for putting into an electrical engine.

And I'm pretty sure this was in Unleashed.

That depends on the board. The the largest board will take 4 tubes. You might be having the problem of putting the board in 1st. You need to place all of your tubes 1st then put the board in. That will place all of the tubes into the board.

bronze-bronze-tin-tin is what I used back on 1.4.x.

I put a heat vent? in each one too. Didn't notice any practical difference with or without, though. Think the heat in the GUI was lower overall, but don't know if that means anything important to an electric engine. Was a pain because those vents don't stack.

Used the biggest board (the gold one), but put it in first. Thanks for that info.

The amount you can insert not only depends on the board, but the type of tube. You may have only one copper and/or iron but two tin and/or bronze.

Hence use one iron tube for the best conversion ratio, or cram in 2x tin+bronze for the best raw output per block.

1) Right click empty space with soldering iron.
2) Insert ONE circuit board into top right of the interface that appears.
3) Insert ONE tube into EACH of the sockets that board offers.
4) Finished board goes to bottom right slot for collection.
