Here is a mystcraft world I just created. Nothing spectacular except for one thing. All Thaumcraft nodes are easy to spot because they all have a bit of snow on top of them

If you put your descriptive book into a writing desk you can view the pages it has or right click to the bottom right of the book when you choose to enter an age where it looks like the page is folded and view all the pages that way

I havent played gregtech since 1.4.7 and im sure it has changed since then but what is crazy about the endstone easy to get nowadays. My opinion that is ticon has its way vanilla the "correct" way, mystcraft, and im sure there are others. Does gregtech now take endstone for stuff?

Well, this is endstone and no enderman, and the server I play on has a harder mob called wailers in the end, so all that free endstone lying there with just pigs surrounding it is rather attractive.

I'm afraid that doesn't work anymore in the latest (1.7.10) version of Mystcraft. All you get to see is the pages you used to create the both with (in my case a link panel).

I have mystcraft-1.7.10-0.11.0.00 in my mod folder and i can view the pages of an age i just created just fine when you create random ages you can put the book into a writing desk on the left and you can copy the pages out of discriptive books to help collect the pages instead of trying to find libraires and villagers.

also you can view the pages like your about to go to an age and i was wrong its not right click the bottom right corner its left click sorry on that part

Hmm weird. Can you describe exactly step by step how to do this? If I put my random books in a writing desk I just see the linking panel. Nothing more. I'm also using 0.11.0 btw.

ok so to test it i spawned in a creative all symbols book cause reasons put a link panel in book binder right clicked the creative notebook next to the link panel as making a custom age pull out the descriptive book everything basically normal then open up writing desk how most people write their ages and put it in one of the 4 slots on the left top one since i had nothing in it it shows link panel and every page that was in the creative book but its a descriptive book. second way had descriptive book in inventory on hotbar selected that slot and right click like i was going to enter the age moved my mouse cruser down to the bottom right hand side of gui and left click on the page where the page looks like it is folded in the gui it allowed me to see all 300+ pages that were in the book from the creative notebook but as a descriptive book

Well for some reason that isn't working for me. I only see the pages that I put in the book myself. Nothing else. So if I don't put any pages in the book binder (just a link panel) then I only get to see the link panel.

I find my nodes in Deep Dark. Its more easy to see them in the darkness. And with a Hyperenergetic Nitor I have no problem with darkness.
