Easiest Way to Get Mystcraft Pages?

So a quick follow up. I found a plains biome with a few trees every so often. Although there is only nether mobs & the thaumcraft dungeons. Any structures on the map are either thaumcraft hill things or a library. I have found 3 libraries but none of them had any chests though. I found 5 different thaumcraft dungeons and got a lot of souls for my soul shards. Pretty cool.
The chest is always on either side of the doorway as you walk in, hidden by the bookshelves. Break the bottom two, and it'll be hidden snug underneath a block of wood. It's possible that they can appear in the far corners of the building from the doorway, but I've never seen them there.
Oh, okay. I did not know that. And my laptop has 8gb ram with an i7 (intel graphics -_-). And my dad's and my computer has 16gb ram with a 3570k with a GTX 680. Before you bash me for 16 gigs of ram. This computer does a lot more than gaming. I have reached up to 9gb ram usage once. So, yea. And I have found 9 total libraries with 14 thaumcraft dungeons. Already have 2 tier 5 soul shards. Thanks guys.
Edit: Another quick question. How do you like discover what the Unknown Pages say?
Yep, this is what I did. Just don't make it Savanna or Redwoods or anything else ith trees that show up as grey squares on the minimap. Meadows, plains, Xhills are all good.
To echo what is already said my first experience with the new Mystcraft was to create a random age. Once I got one that I could move around in I explored the area around spawn by about 300 blocks in each direction looking for an abandoned library. Finding one got me 7-12 pages. If the world is stable enough I continue exploring until I'm full or bored and then head back. My next world after that I use what pages I found to make a more stable world and explore some more if I need certain pages.
One evening with play I had a good amount of pages and could make stable mining worlds and even found Coal Ore to make Coal tendrils if I so desired.
Give the new system a chance and I'm looking forward to having him implement some sort of research system to at least give you the basics of age creation.
Also age hoping with villages and Thaumcraft dungeons is a great way to find loot in chests and trade with villagers for more emeralds if you need them. Also if you need stability in an age don't be afraid to throw charged in there to eat up some of the bad instability. I've only been hit by lightning twice over several hours of play in mystcraft ages.

Added bonus for exploring Abandoned Libraries is the barrel full of books you'll end up with, which is dandy for TC3 research and enchanting. Also, you can, as I recall, delete an unused age from the minecraft folder to reduce 'background clutter' but I have no personal experience to confirm that.

Heh imagine my surprise when I was hit and on fire. But i'll take that over being always on fire, or nauseous or slowed any day of the week.
Yeah the new page mechanic makes random ages really great to get symbols now and you don't have to have 50 ages to get the symbols you want just a few, more if you are really unlucky.
Also if you find yourself in a cave world dig and pillar up to the top the libraries will be up there on a nice flat surface.
Yes I got that to work the other day, took 2 diamonds to get it right. You have to be standing on the dirt and overhanging the portal but not in it.
