DW20 Server Update???

Can anyone explain to me why we have an acknowledged problem with the update for DW20 (and lets face it, there are a multitude of people waiting for this update) and yet, a very particular SOMEONE has decided that playing on his FTB map and streaming is far more important?

This is messed up....

but im sure someone will delete this because we cant have any truth stated!

You are right, this should be deleted, you could have made a nice friendly topic like, "it's been a while on the dw20 server, is it just me getting the problem or do others also have it? If its been acknowledged, any word on an upcoming update? Thanks for your time!' Why make it negative with a bad "tone"?

That being said... i understand they do this in their own time, but maybe i have a higher understanding when there is an entire community focused around FTB and the DW20 pack specifically... Its one thing to delay the release of a pack, its another to completely replace one with a corrupted server pack. There are a number of others looking to me to get our server back up and running and i have to tell them 'i think they are working on it' when they are watching the stream and not hearing a single word about anything.

Also know, that prior to my post here, we made an attempt to contact MULTIPLE members of the FTB team (which as usual was met with next to no response at all) to get some kind of information, offer some assistance in any fashion, or even any thing at all.

We have even found a fix and have offered it up to the team to maybe help out others, even that was met with zero response. We do appreciate the level of work that goes into these packs... but seriously? Releasing a bad product? Maybe i just have higher expectations.

The fix is in.. here are the steps to getting your servers back online.
1. Download 1.1.3 server pack.
2. tell everyone to use 1.1.4 modpack version
3. edit server side item id for applied energetic tiny tnt to -1
4. watch people try to connect to your server over and over using recommended (broken) build

name calling and inappropriate language is not necessary to resolve any of this. if you dont like what is posted, no matter how much of a fanboy you are, move along and let the big kids handle the problem.

see... there is our fix, we have our server up and running, and our people are back on it.

It may not be a resolution, but its a viable fix, that they didnt want to hear.

as for your "dumb crap" statement... how is a broken server pack considered dumb? Unless of course youve never actually hosted a server before, then i could understand.

First of all, the OP's condescending attitude towards FTB team is unacceptable. Unreasonable disrespect and general untruth should not be posted in these forums. Second of all, information on this issue has been posted, so there was no need to post this thread. Third of all, your signature exceeds the signature rule, 4. Signatures should be less then 615 wide x 150 Tall. Fourth of all, I'm not a fanboy, I barely even play the FTB packs anymore.[DOUBLEPOST=1377742525][/DOUBLEPOST]

The dumb crap comment was a response to the fact that there is information on this, and you are being a condescending ass about the issue.
