Just a question about Logistics Pipes. I've seen both twitch streamers and some youtubers do remote ordering with this mod and I was wondering how to do it. From me messing around with it I can get a basic system set up and I can build the orderer just fine but I can still only request by clicking on a logistics pipe.

I know about the ender chest and all, it's just the remote orderer that's not working as I thought it would, was the function taken out? Or am I missing something important that I need to do first?

You have to hook the remote orderer to a remote orderer logistics pipe so the system knows where to send the items too. This pipe then points to the ender chest linked to your ender pouch.

Ok, so how do I link the orderer to the pipe? I have the ender chest/pouch set up with a MK2 request pipe connected to it. Yep, realized wrong pipe.

I think just right click the remote orderer on the remote order pipe. Replace the request pipe with a pipe called the remote orderer logistics pipe.
You know, that could help me a lot.[DOUBLEPOST=1389278268][/DOUBLEPOST]Yep, now I have the right pipe, all is working. Thanks tons both of you for the help.

Somewhere over the rainbow.
Just be aware that this awesome remote orderer thing isn't free, each time you use the remote orderer it use some power, the farther your are from your system, the more power it cost, it could be a lot if you're in another dimension, so be sure you have a lot of power ready for that thing, except if you choose to disable the power requirement for the remote orderer, but it would be cheating...

A nice addition is to also have another set of enderchest/pouch with a an extracting module MK3 to it (or a quick sort module but its a little bit slower if I remember correctly) so you can send items to your network no matter where you are, I usually keep my stuff in the remote orderer pouch so I don't have too much stuff on me, and when I need to order something I get my remote orderer and the other pouch out of it and just do the things I need (a nice trick is to also keep a crafting table (or an equivalent of it) in that remote orderer pouch, you can always order one, but its sometimes really handy to just get one out of the pouch...

Specifically the remote orderer takes 1 LP energy per metre (block) from the remote orderer pipe plus 2500 if you are in another dimension. A single logistics power junction holds 2 000 000 LP energy (400 000 MJ (I think that is the right conversion)).
