this mod is awsome! (and im using ultimate on a hosted server so a few versions behind)
and im saying that after blowing up half my base by using the power tool to try and remove a charging pad - a wrench, a wrench my kingdom for a wrench!

and now having seen its open source i might start tinkering myself, - though dont hold your breath

my wish list is a portable tinker table - like the portable crafting bench, - its very iron man to be able to customise the installed gadgets in suit on the fly without running back to base

also looking thought the latest release - torch holder? i assume this is pritty much what it suggests and lets me become a source of light?

oh god, 14k a min, and generating light, may have to rename myself "Comet"

This is a thing in the 1.5 versions! I haven't tried it yet (because ED has no tinker table) but it seems epic.

All the new stuff looks amazing. One thing I hope gets in is a mobdisguise function, for stealthing around playerbases while they are online. Yeessss...

This is, quite literally, the only reason I have EE3 installed. I don't transmute in world blocks, I don't transmute dyes, not even wood to obsidian. 4 iron to 1 pearl, that's it. And it feels cheap but I'll be damned if I'm going to farm a low-spawn rate, annoying as hell mob for his low drop rate item. Heck, I gave serious thought of putting in a vanilla recipe to make it more expensive just to not feel so bad. Something like 4 pulverized obsidian, 2 redstone, 2 glowstone and a diamond. Proof you've dug deep, can cross dimensions, have done so.

Since I made my MPS all the doors in my base are 1x1 holes. I constantly get shot by skeletons walking by the holes. Which does 0 damage and makes me giggle.

I haven't bothered making a Tinker Table yet (though I need to, to install my magnets) because I have the field tinker module. I guess I better make one for Liara now that I have emeralds.
Though less emeralds than before the server got reverted. If I can ever log in again.

If it's any consolation, I've asked a friend to make a special RR cape we all get for being good sports about helping me test this shit.

Thanks, and maybe this time I'll make a book to the village rather than flying 500m back and forth to trade. That way I'll only be a few minutes behind. (Well I did kinda expect my magic fabricator to be making emeralds overnight too, but I quite understand the necessity of reverting.)

On the topic of MPS and RR, do you know the status of the colour-picker crash and the omniwrench module crash? Are we on a version where those are fixed?

Evidently they're fixed in newer versions, but those newer versions use a new packet format that MPSA doesn't know about yet. So we're waiting on MPSA to catch up because we'd all be pretty bummed to lose our leaf blowers and solar generators. I am basically a walking powerplant. More than once I've used my armor as a generator to dump power INTO my energy cube, then I leap into lava and start running around to recharge it.

Very droll using your body as a generator.

Very manual also, so probably not nessessarily unintended.
For example, standing using a clockwork engine is essentially the same concept, as is standing in a nexus to charge mana to use <the spell that creates raw essence from mana> on the nexus to keep it full, or using that spell in accompaniment with life tap+healing ring + magic fabricator to never have to mine again.

Also dave, I posted in your RR thread a request for an updated config pack + modlist? As I k so there have been changes since you last posted the list, like removing DD and changing UE - EU values. I would like to have access to these changes.

Also, I heard that Underground biomes messes with rocky bees spawns, does it?
I have several other questions, most of which I posted in your other thread also...
