The omniwrench module wasn't working for me: it crashed when I clicked on that module (when checking if I had an omniwrench available to determine whether the Install button should be enabled, regardless of whether I had one). I figure the odds are that's already been fixed or is just because bugs always happen around me

There's the companion bug. I haven't built the omnitool module at all yet any time I r.click on an ME Chest with my gauntlet it rotates the chest instead of opening it. :)

Actually, the tool I'm most impressed in is the buzz saw. At first, I wasn't too impressed, the damage it does is not scalable, but then I saw you could spam it. From there, things got much better. It doesn't build up heat, it draws a modest amount of energy, and has a secondary function of shearing trees.

And yes, the Lux Capacitor is made of Win and Awesome. Seriously.

Oh, definitely. I like the idea. Don't like the hitbox (interferes with my mining). Just, the cost is so exceptionally low. A few hundred energy, maybe 100Mj, for a free, remote placable light, tech looking light source? That's even cheaper than the non-flying, manually placing, old-school torches. But are they so much fun in underground canyons. :)

Considering the module requires Glowstone to create, I don't think anyone who has been to the nether and back has any kind of problems lighting places up. So I think it is quite fairly balanced.

Only one piece of glowstone dust which you can get easily even quite early. I think there are uncraftable lux capacitor items in NEI so at some point the lux capacitor module on the tool will probably shoot those.

How hard is it to set up a tree farm for sticks and charcoal? I certainly always have one up well before venturing into the Nether.

Mmm, kinda. I hate to do it but... comparing to other mods to see what they do for a non-torch, perma-placed, tech looking block we see they often involve glowstone per block. I agree that it's not hard to keep a place lit once you get to that stage, but it still requires material and manual placement. ;)[DOUBLEPOST=1367914463][/DOUBLEPOST]

This is still a time, material and energy cost which isn't reflected in the current LC mechanics. Given how few item sinks there are in MC, and how many methods of fast, automatic item gathering there is, the greater minecraft community should be looking at more item sinks, not removing the few basic ones we have left.

This is you: "This is too much fun! Please nerf it until it has an equal amount of mindless tedium compared to the rest of the stuff I play with."

Actually, no. I haven't asked for nerfs. I merely expressed my opinion. I am entirely capable of not using it as I see fit. Far be it to presume others should not use it or to ask that you force them to not use it. :p

I'm probably going to have to boot my server over to ultimate (fro dire) just for a better chance of playing with newer versions of this mod.
It screams cool.

And I'm loving the armour customisation. The one thing I have always disliked in modded minecraft is how everyone ends up looking the same. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is being able to use other armours as camo and some way of them recolouring THAT.

I'm not sure if I'll use the customisation when it finally filters through to Ultimate. I'm currently using the mod that makes it invisible, so you can see my skin.

Is there any method to change back to the old model? I don't really like the new one, it is not Minecrafty :(
