Hello, I was wondering if there will be the ability to disable certain mods in the modpack. Some mods, like EE, are very overpowered. by itself it is enjoyable, but when combined with other mods it seems cheaty. I can abstain from using it in a single player world, but on a server everyone will use it. if i could disable them it will give players a feeling of urgency to go out and acquire materials rather than using Energy condensers to acquire it for them.

Just remove the mod from the mods folder on the server. Not sure what it might do if there are already items from that mod in the map but it should just remove them. Take a back up first.

Hello.

When/If you're running the Bukkit version of the server, you can actually disable some aspects of different mods, by disabling the ability to craft such items, therefore you can have the mod installed to have the non 'cheaty' stuff active, there are even some mods that in the configuration file you can disable them, just check the /config/ folder.

Hope that helps.

not all items are in all mod's config's. Some mods do but not all dont have it. Or maybe you want to block only some groups not to use it.

Yup, what that guy posted, every item (included mod items) HAVE to have an ID, so you can stop that ID from being crafted or even being placed on the server (so even an admin can't get them through spawning).
