It seems that these installers for the servers are not getting all of the files properly from the server. Is there a way to download them directly instead of through this middleman that seems to be failing? It is very frustrating because I remember when this was such a simple process, now this and I see others have the same problems and nobody is replying with fixes or alternatives anywhere...

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.
