Greetings all,

I have a question about terrain generation, are all BoP biomes disabled in the pack, bc after at least 30 different worlds i have not seen a single biome from BoP. All worlds are like small to a bit bigger islands, but thats about it. Is there a reason for them to be disabled? I havent touched a setting yet.

Thx Calmz

yes. disabled. But only because many servers and not new computers can't handle the resources it sucks up. All it takes is clicking into the mod pack, and enabling it. Then when creating a world, select biomes o plenty from the world type (change from default to bop)

It looks like most of the BoP biomes are disabled by default in the config, so yes you would need to enable what you want. And of course set world type to BoP when you create it

Edit:
No, you have to enable the mod itself. As in, Biomes of Plenty is disabled, not the biomes within the mod itself.
The mod is enabled by default in DW20

This is actually somewhat confusing, I think I understand what's going on but would love some confirmation my assumptions are correct.

1) Biomes O' Plenty is enabled and included in the Direwolf20 v1.6.4 pack.

2) You need to go into the world creation options and select Biomes O Plenty terrain generation before creating the world as it is not the default option selected.

3) Many of the terrain types in Biomes O Plenty are defaulted to disabled in the biomes-o-plenty config file. You can go in and move them from false to true if you want to enable more biomes.

It was that last one that had me the most confused, but that definitely explains why I couldn't find some of the biome's I had heard were in biomes o plenty.

For me it was just the terrain types that where missing, right now i have added a few like mesa, vulcanoes, most forrests and the land generation rocks.
