What is the bug? When using the diamond want to place blocks they are not removed from the inventory.

I have been using the Diamond Wand from Better Builder's Wands for the better part of a week now both in 3.0.4 and 3.0.5 and it doesn't duplicate items and consumes everything accordingly. I can speak for about 8 other people on the server that I play on. It doesn't duplicate. Are you OP or creative?

I am not an OP or in creative mod, what happened was I went to make a large amount of cobble to break into gravel and the wand didn't remove it from my inventory, I noticed and tried it on another block to be sure, (iron blocks) and it didn't remove the block from my inventory but still built more blocks.
