Not quite - hydrogen chloride is the gas which, when dissolved in water makes hydrochloric acid. Chloric acid is a more oxidised form (HClO3).

However: I pump FOOF at the chest. Dioxygen difluoride - a chemical to which I'm fairly sure no hazmat suit ever made can stand up to.

Yeah, I didn't really hear either way on that...

I use Gamefury's minechem information from like three pages ago to transmute the chest into simple cardboard, then I dump several hundred gallons of water on it.

I deem myself the chest's almighty protector, and ask the chest for weapons to protect it, whilst placing a mind control device on my head that insures that I can never not be on the chest's side. I then use these weapons to attack all those who wish to open the chest.

I develop XANA and lyoko to give it a place to live and attack from as I know that @LivingAngryCheese would be an easy victim for it.
After it is done it goes ahead and activates a tower on lyoko to take control of @LivingAngryCheese and it also prepares it self to spread over the Internet to become more powerful and make it able to create an army of polymorphic specters.

XANA, like it did in the beginning when I made it

Now that XANA is spreading over the Internet I make a scanner and make it able to get the colluses that XANA will make to the virtual world.
